| Description: | SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for developing and managing a mortgage portfolio within a designated market area of the bank; fostering the bank�s relationship management culture by actively pursuing new mortgage opportunities from current and prospective customers and realtors; communicating with relationship management personnel with respect to sales objectives, sales performance and other factors; and, providing required information on sales and service activities.

| Duties: | REQUIRED SKILLS:
Must possess a working knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures that impact the mortgage function; and, skills/experience associated with implementing mortgage sales strategies. Also required are strong communication skills; well-developed business development and sales abilities (with sales/service orientation); and above-average organizational and analytical skills. Must have the ability to deal tactfully and efficiently with fellow bank employees and customers. Must be able to work at a pace that ensures that established deadlines are met. |
| Qualifications: | REQUIRED EDUCATION:
An Associates Degree in a related field is required; or, equivalent combination of education and specialized banking experience related to community banking and/or mortgage lending.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of two (2) years� experience in related positions. Previous experience with personal computers, Word and Excel software and office equipment is also required.
